How to Break Down a Typical Ingredients List
Break it up into thirds: 90-95% of the ingredients in the first third of the list make up the majority of the product. The second third, 5-8% and the remaining third, 1-3%. So for example, if the first ingredient listed is Water then the majority of that product is made up of Water falling into the 90-95% bracket.
