At the moment we are experiencing the trials, tribulations, thrills and excitement of starting up an organic food coop in our local area which is on the northern beaches of Sydney, NSW. After living here for a year now we found it really difficult to source good quality organic produce at a reasonable price. Every week we found our food budget to be shattered and go through the roof with just purchasing organic fruit and veg. So, about a couple of months ago now we put it out there to the community about starting up a coop and we were overwhelmed with the response especially from mums with young kids. This response made me really think about the need for organic produce to local families and the definite desire that mums and dads have to provide there little bubas with safe, nutritious and tasty food. I was thrilled that so many people, not only ourselves are aware of the benefits of choosing certified organic products and produce.

No synthetic chemicals - The use of artificial chemicals, pesticides and fertilisers are prohibited in organic systems.
